Who Will Tell The Story? The Next Generation of Holocaust Education

In this event we are joined by Noemie Lopian and Derek Niemann as we consider what the future of Holocaust education looks like after we lose the survivors who witnessed it.

Holocaust educator Noemie, the daughter of a concentration camp survivor and writer Derek, the grandson of a Nazi SS officer and manager of slave labour, join forces to show why the Holocaust still has lessons for us all today.

Though they are descendants from opposite sides of this story, a desire for mutual understanding has brought them together to share their very different experiences, and shed light on their family stories.

A discussion about the future of Holocaust education will follow Noemie and Derek's presentation.
