This event will focus on the challenges and lessons learnt from Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) funding of global health interventions.

This roundtable is part of a line of work that the Global Health team and the Global Economy and Finance team at Chatham House are embarking on, to investigate the political economy of global public goods in health. It will bring together an international and diverse group of policymakers, academics, practitioners, and the private sector. These experts will share their perspectives, debate and discuss what lessons can be gleaned from the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) funding and from their experiences pursuing political traction and financial commitment to global public goods for other public health challenges (with spotlights on HIV/AIDS and on AMR).
