Launching on World Stroke Day 2021, the Stroke Seminar Series 2021: The New Era for Stroke Research and Treatment in Ireland will bring together expertise from a range of medical research and healthcare professionals over three evenings in October, November and January. These seminars will provide insights from clinicians and researchers highlighting advances in the field of stroke research, treatment and recovery through a series of talks followed by Q&A.

MiND

The MicroRNAs as Novel Diagnostics in acute stroke (MiND) study is an Irish-led study exploring novel biomarkers in the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of acute ischaemic stroke. The MiND Study is led by Dr Shona Pfeiffer (RCSI), Prof. David Williams (RCSI and Beaumont Hospital) and Prof. John Thornton (Beaumont Hospital).
