This webinar will present findings from a study that sought to understand the local forces and challenges that induce women to migrate from villages in India to Gulf countries as domestic workers. Comparing Dalit and non-Dalit women, the study used quantitative and qualitative data to understand changes in socio-economic status of women migrant workers.
