Energy Action Days

Pre-Summit Energy Action Days on 22-23 September to Showcase the Power of SDG7 and Catalytic Finance

To give more space to global leaders from across sectors to announce Energy Compact commitments, expand partnerships and build support, pre-summit virtual Energy Action Days are being organized. On 22 September, an event will showcase  “The Power of SDG7 to Create a Better Future for People and Planet”, and on 23 September, the theme will be “Let’s Get It Done: Catalytic Finance for Universal Energy Access and Energy Transition”. Both events will take place 7:00-9:30 a.m. New York time.  

The registration link is now live for those participating in the events on 22-23 September. These events will also be livestreamed at webtv.un.org.

Leaders are being invited from national and city governments, business, foundations, youth networks and other civil society organizations, for an exciting programme of keynote remarks, interactive discussions and feature interviews. The programme will be posted shortly on the Dialogue website, along with details on how to watch and join the conversation.
