The Race to Resilience, launched in January, 2021, aims to catalyse a step-change in global ambition for climate resilience, putting people and nature first in the pursuit of a resilient world. The campaign will mobilise businesses, investors, cities, and civil society to strengthen the resilience of 4 billion people in vulnerable communities by 2030.
This event will convene business and civil society leaders for a discussion on strategies for building resilience on the journey to net zero with people and nature at their core; and the importance of including women, youth, and indigenous people in resilience building.
Confirmed Speakers:
- Eva Zabey, Executive Director, Business for Nature
- Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim, President of the Association for Indigenous Women and Peoples of Chad (AFPAT)
- Neha Rai, Climate Change and Private Sector Specialist, Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations (FAO)
