UNGA Guide

This two-part session will bring together both government health leaders and civil society organization representatives to share their most effective health workforce policy wins - and losses - over the last year and a half. Part one will be a frank discussion with government leaders from different continents on how their health worker policies pivoted to respond to COVID-19 and what they would do differently in the event of a future health crises. Part two will feature CSO representatives to hear their experiences working hand-in-hand with the government to pass and implement innovative health workforce policies. The event cosponsors will produce recommendations from the promising solutions shared to build stronger, more resilient health systems with an empowered and supported health workforce that can meet their countries’ needs.
