Women in Global Health is delighted to host 'Beyond Applause: Heroines of Health 2021'

Building on three previous in-person Heroines of Health Galas, Women in Global Health will host the first ever virtual Heroines of Health Gala, in partnership with The Johnson & Johnson Foundation to celebrate female leadership in global health.

We will be honouring this year's Heroines of Health Awardees, amplifying the work of exceptional leaders and champions on the frontlines of COVID-19, including those accelerating policy change for a gender equal health workforce.

With an inspiring keynote address, specially commissioned spoken word poetry from Mumbi Macharia, and global leaders shining a spotlight on the incredible achievements of our Heroines of Health, we will celebrate the power of the global movement demanding progress for women in global health.
