Join us for the launch of the FDA’s Agenda for International Development.

With the support of the International Development Department, King’s College London, the FDA trade union has undertaken a research project looking at the challenges and opportunities facing the world of international development following the merger of DFID and the FCO. They have considered both the political context and perspectives from across the spectrum, as well as seeking insight from academics and NGOs to capture the breadth of views on this crucial topic.

This one hour panel discussion launches the research. The event will be Chaired by Dev Bahra, the FDA’s first intern, who will be joined by:

Abigael Baldoumas – Aid Policy Manager, BOND

Sir Myles Wickstead KCMG – Visitng Professor, King’s College London and associate FDA member

Tim Durrant – Associate Director, Institute for Government

Join us as our panel considers where we are now and the biggest obstacles to overcome, as well as considering how FDA members and the broader civil service can best rise to the challenge of embedding development work in to the heart of the new FCDO organisation.
