How can the health system better advance self-care and support marginalized gender identities--women, transgender people, and non-binary people--in accessing health services?

The Self-Care Trailblazer Group (SCTG) and partners are hosting a virtual community forum (in English, French, and Spanish) to explore how health systems working towards advancing universal health coverage (UHC) can better meet your self-care* needs.

This forum is for women, transgender people, and non-binary people who are committed to advocating for gender rights and are interested in sharing their perspectives on how health systems can better advance self-care.

*The World Health Organization (WHO) defines self-care as “the ability of individuals, families, and communities to promote and maintain health, prevent disease, and cope with illness with or without the support of a healthcare provider.” Self-care enables individuals to exercise greater autonomy, power, and control of their health, and improve their health and well-being.
