World Polio Day - Rotary Club of Chicago

Carol Pandak is the Director of Rotary International’s PolioPlus program.

Carol directs all aspects of Rotary’s polio eradication program including administration, advocacy, financial oversight, grants management, volunteer engagement support, and fundraising and communications support.

She is the staff liaison to Rotary’s International PolioPlus Committee and works closely with the partners in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) including WHO, UNICEF, US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. 

Carol also serves on multiple cross agency committees and management groups of the GPEI and is Rotary’s representative to the GPEI’s Strategy Committee.

Carol’s work has taken her all over the world where she has participated in and monitored polio immunization campaigns, assessed Rotary’s and partner activities at the country-level, and participated in high-level technical and stakeholder meetings.
