With communities globally having to contend with the effects of a pandemic, volatile politics and the increasing effects of the climate crisis, fluid conflict dynamics and drivers require peacebuilding initiatives that recognise the complexity and change in the environments they are working in.

Through an evidence-based adaptive approach that trialled innovative peacebuilding, research, analysis and evaluation methods, in just a few years, the Smart Peace programme has gathered a wealth of insights on better peacebuilding in North East Nigeria, Myanmar and Central African Republic (CAR), and beyond.

At this event, the Smart Peace programme will present lessons learnt from its experiences of innovation in peacebuilding in North East Nigeria, Myanmar and Central African Republic.

Agenda and speakers to be announced.
