One of the most challenging steps for onchocerciasis endemic countries is breaking the cycle of transmission to the point where mass drug administration can be stopped. USAID’s Act to End NTDs | East (Act | East) program has learned valuable lessons through supporting countries to reach this critical milestone in their journey to achieve the elimination of onchocerciasis.

Please join us for a webinar to share lessons learned from Ethiopia, Nigeria, and Uganda. Panelists will share key takeaways from their experiences with focal context monitoring, unique implementation of onchocerciasis elimination strategies, and making evidence-based decisions that are facilitated by the onchocerciasis expert committees. There will be ample time for questions and answers.
